Bite and Body in Harmony
The Aqualizer is an instant relief splint for the treatment of dysfunctions in the masticatory system (myoarthropathy). The splint, filled with water, balances the misalignment of the jaw and provides a relaxing posture. The occlusal splint works according to the hydrostatic principle, whereby the splint filled with water is supposed to balance the dysfunction in the jaw. This is intended to alleviate one-sided relieving postures, jaw tension and resulting CMD symptoms.Aqualizer Mini
The Aqualizer Mini model is a special design for children, adolescents and patients with small jaw sizes or shortened dentition. The water-filled bite pads are only 8 mm wide and the arch length is 110 mm. Irritation of the tongue is also avoided due to the narrower water bite pads. For patients with frequent irritations at the tongue or also with missing posterior molars (teeth 17, 27, 31, 47), an Aqualizer Ultra Mini can also be used depending on the jaw size.The bite height Medium (≈ 2mm) is recommended in 90% of patients. Wearing the Aqualizer Medium is suitable for all patients who do not require special conditions.

Application
The Aqualizer is worn invisible under the upper lip and fixed by the lower and upper premolars and molars. Wearing an Aqualizer may increase the salvation for a short time.In addition, the teeth must be placed gently and evenly on the water-filled bite pads and the splint must be positioned centrally in the mouth. It is not necessary to make a chewing motion. When the Aqualizer is correctly inserted, the jaw muscles correct themselves into the most comfortable bite position.Due to its anatomically adapted shape, it is fixed in the vestibule of the mouth by the cheek and lip muscles and therefore cannot slip out. The Aqualizer can be used temporarily as a splint during the night.
If the patient has a disturbed swallowing or gagging reflex, the Aqualizer should not be used under any circumstances or only under medical supervision.
In case of permanent grinding or pressing, the splint may burst. In this case, distilled (non-toxic) water will leak out and the Aqualizer can no longer be used.
Additional Information
If you would like to buy the bite splint in stock or keep it longer for other reasons, we recommend storing it in a frozen state. This will prevent the water from escaping.The service life of an Aqualizer depends on the individual stress and force exerted by the dentition. As a rule, an Aqualizer lasts 2 - 3 weeks. Patients with pronounced parafunctions (bruxism) can bite through an Aqualizer in a much shorter time. Therefore, the Aqualizer is only conditionally suitable for strong pressers or grinders. If the Aqualizer is bitten through in less than 2 days, this may be a sign of a parafunction. The Aqualizer is not a substitute for an individually made permanent splint, but a temporary relaxation splint and diagnostic device. The Aqualizer causes rapid muscular relaxation and can thus significantly reduce pain. The non-physiological occlusion is compensated by the water pads and the lower jaw is guided into a relaxed physiologically favorable position. The dentist can fix this relaxed position with a bite registration and then transfer it to a fixed splint. The Aqualizer can be worn during the night and also during the day. If irritation of the gums or tongue occurs, the Aqualizer should be discontinued. Relief of the discomfort indicates muscular relaxation, which can be well treated with a splint or also a RehaBite. If the complaints are the same or even more severe, joint structures could possibly be affected. In both cases, a dentist or an appropriately trained physiotherapist or osteopath should always be consulted.

Mi piace molto.
Buon prodotto. Tempi di spedizione un po' lunghi. Ma per me ha funzionato. Ordinerei 2 pezzi perché i prodotti non durano così a lungo se si preme molto forte.

Fantastisches Produkt
Wir benutzen den Aqualizer schon seit Jahren in der Praxis und haben damit viel Erfolg. Es ist immer sehr nett, wenn man den Patienten etwas zur häuslichen Therapie nach Hause geben kann. Gut auch für die Abnahme von Bissregisrateb. Leider ist es aktuell schwierig an genügend menge zu kommen

Πολύ ενδιαφέρον προϊόν!
Την άνοιξη του 2021 είχα την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσω και να δοκιμασω το προϊόν Aqualizer.
Η βοήθεια που μου πρόσφερε ήταν άμεση! Μετά από ένα μόνο βράδυ μειώθηκαν οι πόνοι
στο σαγόνι! Από τότε μέχρι και τώρα είναι πιστός μου σύντροφος στις δύσκολες στιγμές,
αν και όσο περισσότερος χρόνος περνάει τόσο και πιο λίγο το χρειάζομαι.
Ότι καλύτερο για όσους ζουν σε μόνιμο στρες!

Sehr gutes Produkt
Ich bin sehr begeistert von diesem Produkt. Jahrelang habe ich unter Kopf- und Nackenschmerzen gelitten bis ich auf dieses Produkt gestoßen bin. Der Kiefer entspannt sich bei Anwendung deutlich und die Schmerzen lassen nach. Eine klare Empfehlung! ??

GROßARTIG!!!
GROßARTIG!!! Liebes "Aqualizer-Team", an dieser Stelle möchte ich ein großes Dankeschön loswerden! Der Aqualizer war sprichwörtlich meine Rettung und hat in wenigen Stunden mein Leben verändert! Klingt wie im Märchen, ist aber wahr. Als CMD Patient (ohne Anfangs zu wissen, dass ich CMD habe) hatte ich eine Odyssee an Arztbesuchen durch, Probleme wie Dauerschwindel, übelste Schmerzen, Verspannung bis hin zu Verhärtungen und richtig heftige Körperfehlstellung hatte ich das Glück zu einem sehr professionellen Zahnarzt zu kommen, der mir endlich helfen konnte. Er untersuchte mich, stellte CMD fest, hat mich beraten und mir auf der Stelle einen Aqualizer "verpasst" um mir zu beweisen, dass ich eine dauerhafte Schiene benötige. Ich war skeptisch.. die Fahrt zu ihm dauert 1 Stunde. Er versprach sobald ich zu Hause angekommen wäre, würde meine rechte Schulter (stark nach unten hängend) sich "nach oben" bewegt haben und ich würde bereits etwas Entspannung verspüren. Ich war noch immer skeptisch.. zu Hause angekommen war ich tatsächlich etwas entspannter, mein Nacken war irgendwie komisch entspannter und meine Schulter kam wenige Zentimeter nach oben.. ok dachte ich.. noch immer skeptisch.. schauen wir mal nach dieser Nacht..... DANKE!!!!!!!! Ich hatte seit 1 1/2 Jahren die entspannteste Nacht! Ich konnte es nicht glauben, ich hatte durchgeschlafen, ohne diese fiesen Schmerzen und Schwitzattacken, seit 1 1/2 Jahren! Mittlerweile habe ich eine Schiene, es brauchte jedoch einige Zeit der Feineinstellung, Nachschleifen, Anpassen etc... und der Aqualizer hat mich die ganze Zeit begleitet, immer dann wenn die Schiene noch nicht saß konnte ich dank Aqualizer trotzdem gut schlafen. Eine Schiene kann brechen, man kann sie vergessen oder ähnliches, deshalb habe ich noch immer einen Notfallaqualizer im Tiefkühlschrank! Danke für die mega Erfindung!!!!!!!! Ich finde jeder der CMD hat sollte das Produkt kennen. Ich bin hunderttausendprozentig davon überzeugt. Auch die Möglichkeit zwischen verschiedenen Versionen zu wählen, je nach Kiefer (low, medium, high - slim usw.) - Hammer! (da meine Schiene höher ist als der Aqualizer werd ich mir jetzt nochmal den mini-high bestellen) Sollten Sie je auf der Suche nach Produkttestern oder Markenbotschaftern sein, bin ich Ihre "Frau"!
